SOLAR SYSTEMS SAVE MONEY
In calculating the pay-back period, and thus the return on investment, of any solar system we must factor in the available GOVERNMENT INCENTIVES. The Virgin Islands Energy Office is now part of the Office of the Governor. Among other valuable programs, the Energy Office administers a REBATE PROGRAM for V.I. residents who purchase energy conserving products and alternative energy equipment. Information can be obtained from: http://www.vienergy.org. In addition to local rebates the Federal government has extended INCOME TAX CREDITS for the next 8 years. These credits can account for 30% of the total cost of certain systems.
